8. Trusted Shops Trustbadge integration

Our website has an integrated Trusted Shops Trustbadge, which is used to display our Trusted Shops quality mark and the collected reviews from buyers about purchases in our store, as well as to present the range of Trusted Shops products available to buyers after placing an order in the store.

The above serves in accordance with Art. 6 section 1 letter f GDPR to protect our legitimate interest in optimal marketing of our offer by enabling safe purchases. The Trustbadge (trust badge) and the services advertised using it are an offer of Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne. The Trustbadge is provided as part of a data entrustment agreement by the CDN (Content-Delivery-Network) provider. Trusted Shops GmbH also uses suppliers from the USA. An appropriate level of data protection is ensured. More information about the data protection principles of Trusted Shops GmbH can be found here:https://www.trustedshops.pl/dane-firmy-ochrona-anych/When you call Trustbadge, the server automatically remembers the so-called server logs (log files), containing e.g. your IP address, date and time of the request, amount of data transferred and the service provider making the request (access data) and documents the request. Individual access data is stored in a security database for vulnerability analysis. Log files are automatically deleted no later than 90 days after they are created.

Further personal data is transferred to Trusted Shops GmbH if, after placing an order, you decide to use Trusted Shops products or have already registered to use them, a contractual agreement between you and Trusted Shops applies. For this purpose, personal data is automatically collected from the order data. Whether you as a buyer are already registered to use Trusted Shops products is checked automatically based on a neutral parameter - an e-mail address encrypted using cryptological one-way encryption. The email address is encrypted before being transmitted using a hash value so that it cannot be decrypted by Trusted Shops. After checking for compliance, the parameter is automatically deleted.

This is necessary for the purposes of our and Trusted Shops' legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 section 1 letter f GDPR in the scope of providing the buyer protection service associated with a specific order each time and the service of issuing opinions about purchases in the store. Further information, including the right to object, is available in the data protection information of Trusted Shops at the link above and in the Trustbadge.
